Student Exchange Services And Beijing
An agreement in 2007 has opened up student exchange services and Beijing and Denmark mutually benefit from this great program.
As part of an ongoing program of cooperation, Ministers from the Danish and Chinese governments signed two agreements in 2007, the latter of which was ‘China-Denmark Agreement on Mutual Recognition of Academic Degrees in Higher Education’, and the Danish China-strategy, “Increased knowledge-based Cooperation between China and Denmark” was drafted to attempt to turn those words into actions.
Mutual Gains
This agreement is mutually beneficial to both countries and is yet another example of the great co-operation reached between Denmark and China.
Danish universities, and also research institutions can gain a lot by encouraging ambitious and talented Chinese students or researchers to join them, and Danish companies will be able to attract these highly-skilled Chinese students, and also Danish students who have either studied or taken part in research in China, learning on the way about the Chinese language, society and culture.
For China and the Chinese students, studying in Denmark offers great opportunities. The Danish universities and many research institutions are among the best in the world in specific areas, and Danish companies are certainly among the world market leaders for such industry as bio technology, clean energy technology, nanotechnology, and also good and agriculture.
