Beijing China Visa

Getting a Beijing China Visa may not be easy, but it’s well worth it for the many Chinese citizens who can now travel to many different countries as a tourist.

Thanks to the ADS (Approved Destination Status) agreement which stands between China and Denmark, along with many other of the Schengen countries, it is now possible to obtain a Beijing China visa which allows Chinese citizens to visit these wonderful countries as a tourist. Of course, there are certain requirements, but never the less, a whole new world has opened up, especially for the citizens of China, with new opportunities to travel to places in the world which were formally forbidden.

Beijing China Visa for Group Travel

On receipt of an ADS visa, issued in China by the Danish Embassy, a group of minimum five Chinese nationals are permitted to travel within the Schengen area, for a period of up to 30 days, with a pre-determined itinerary. The group must enter and leave together, travel together as a group and stay in the same hotels for the length of the stay. The Beijing China Visa is only valid for the pre-determined itinerary, and any changes must be notified to the authorities immediately. You must include the names, addresses, telephone numbers and fax numbers of all hotels where you will be staying, and all flight reservation details. The tour leader must also go through stringent checks and include lots of personal information for approval, before the visa will be granted.

Every member of the group must also provide a letter from their company or working unit, which includes an address, telephone and fax number of the employer, with a stamp and signature of the person who signed it. It must include their working position, their salary, approval for the leave and confirmation that the working relationship will be continued after the trip.

Beijing China Visa for Individuals

Individuals may also apply for an ADS visa, but there are rules of qualification for that too. The trip must be booked as a complete package including travel and accommodation (no back-packers here!) and organized through an approved travel agency. These agencies must co-ordinate the arrangements between an accredited Chinese Travel Agent and an accredited Danish Travel Agent before the visa is granted. Both of the travel companies need to be accredited by the Danish missions in China, and also the Danish Immigration Service in the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen.

When Chinese citizens apply for the visa, they may be asked to supply extra documentation, or even attend an interview with the Danish mission before it is granted.

To many of us, these may seem like extraordinary lengths to need to go to, when we are so used to traveling to many countries with nothing more than a passport and a suitcase, but although stringent, these Beijing China Visas have opened up the world to a host of Chinese nationals beyond their wildest dreams.
